The Machine Productions was founded in 2007 as a multi-faceted entertainment company. The company has always endeavored to put the artist first, and to truly communicate their vision.

Founded on the corporate mission statement of LEARN…EARN…RETURN our values of truly listening, creating value for our Artists, Customers. And Shareholders, and then giving back to our community in truly inspired ways.

Mike Reynolds, Founder CEO

Mike entered the music industry in 1981 at age 17, and before graduating High School discovered the group Missing Persons, and assisted them in negotiating their first recording contract with Capitol Records. Missing Persons went on to multi-platinum success with hit singles such as “Walking in L.A.” and “Words”. He then went on to be part of the Management teams of Super-groups such as, Night Ranger, Journey, and Kansas. Through these relationships he also was instrumental in creating national merchandising powerhouse Winterland. He currently actively works with longtime friends Smokey Robinson and Earth Wind and Fire on Product endorsement deals and has put together an industry. He standard with his Company The Machine Productions. While achieving multiple gold and platinum albums, Mike has also been active in the world of Franchising by tying together the world ‘s of food and music working in Senior Management positions with top Franchisors such as Haagen-Dazs, Burger King, and Arby’s, to name a few. Additionally, Mike co-founded the Big City Bagels chain which grew nationally to over 120 units. The management team initiated a highly successful IPO valued at over 100 million dollars. Mike has sold over 1000 franchises both domestically and internationally and has been a successful mediator in Franchisee/Franchisor disputes. He is also knowledgeable of Franchising Law and required franchise corporate governance rules as well. He was the first CEO and President of the high-profile restaurant concept Rock & Brews, a rock themed restaurant experience with partners Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the rock group KISS. Mike is fully versed in all aspects of Private Equity Funding as well as entrance into the public markets. He has steered two successful public offerings one in the Franchise Restaurant business and one in a revolutionary Health Screening business called FLEXSCAN. Mike has been integral in multiple corporate turnarounds and mergers and acquisitions and providing over 100 million in private equity funding partnerships. He holds PMP degree from Villanova University School of Management and an MBA from Henley on Thames in the United Kingdom a division of Oxford University

RALPH JOHNSON V.P.
PRODUCER/WRITER/ARTIST

 Born July 4, 1951 is an American singer, songwriter, musician and producer. Johnson is a longstanding member of the band Earth, Wind & Fire.

Early music performances

Born and raised in Los Angeles, from an early age Johnson developed a fascination for all things jazz. At eight years old he went on to receive his first drumming lesson. He later went on to join local bands “The Teen Turbans” and “The Masters Children”.

Earth, Wind and Fire

During 1971 Johnson successfully auditioned as a drummer for another band. This one was led by a Chicago musician known as Maurice White and called Earth, Wind & Fire. With Johnson in tow the band went on to achieve monumental commercial and critical success. He later went on to be inducted as a member of Earth, Wind and Fire into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during 2000.

Solo Career

Johnson went on to perform as a percussionist on Blue Magic’s 1978 album Message From The Magic and Stanley Turrentine’s 1981 album Tender Togetherness. As well he worked as a producer on The Temptations 1984 album Truly For You and Howard Hewett’s 2008 album Howard Hewett Christmas.
