Born in Torrance Giovanni Escalares (GIO) was always destined for great things despite his challenging upbringing. 2FIVE took it upon himself to reach out to the troubled youth on the streets of LA by combining his gift of Rap music and his desire to spread the gospel.

His innovative style and hard edge appealed even to the hard street rappers of the day and he got noticed. His second album “The Watcher” featured DJ Battle cat, Timberland, and Hip-Hop Icon Kurtis Blow.
